Kokomo High School vs Peru High School

The Wildkat wrestlers traveled to the Circus City on Saturday and came home with a Peru Super 6 tournament championship. Your Kats went 5-0 defeating teams from Eastern 53-28, Angola 65-15, Oak Hill 43-34, Peru 42-32, and Hamilton Heights 57-15.

What really stood out to the coaching staff was the unselfish nature of our wrestlers. These young men and women are pulling together and sacrificing their own personal goals for team success. Each and every match we had wrestlers bumping-up out of their normal weight class or even sitting out, if that was best for the team. With three dual meets left in the regular season the team has already tied last year’s win total of 25 and has a goal set to reach 28 wins for the season.

Individual Records:
106 Harvey Barr 4-1
113 Kacey Coak 3-2
120 Nathan Conner 4-1
126 Omarion Clark-Stitts 3-2
138 Wilmer Corrales 3-2
