Girls Soccer closed Thursday in the Indiana Girls Soccer Sectionals with a loss to national ranked Harrison 11-0.
Harrison has no problem coming out early in most of their games and establishing leads quickly. After three early goals against the Kats, the ladies started showing more strength against a fast consistent Harrison squad, though an 11-0 score will make you recognize the skill range difference. Seeing the game you definitely could tell our girls got much stronger since our match early in the year with the North Central Conference champs.
Even structuring a few downfield attacks with shots on/at the goal, which we didn’t get early in the season against them, showed where our offense had gained since the second week of play.
Freshman Keeper Madison Carpenter grabbed three saves on the night and had some solid forced wide shots she created.
