The Haworth Gym was transformed with Senior Night decorations this past Monday honoring the Lady VolleyKats five seniors. Feeling energized, Kokomo won in three sets winning 25 -16, 25 – 9, and 25 – 15.

Senior Malori Nichols yet again led the Lady Wildkats’ charge with eleven kills, two aces, and eight digs. Abby Hansen followed closely with ten kills using her smart shots to score throughout the night. Senior Jannessa Reece used her strength and smart shots to keep Peru on their toes with six kills, five aces, and ten digs. Almost identical to Reece was Jada Claire Broomfield with six kills, four aces, and ten digs.

After her first season kill in a match the week before, Sarah Stonebraker got the taste for offense. She tallied another kill on Monday along with two aces and ten digs. Senior Victoria Stewart tallied eight digs on the right side while Brooke Hughes put down one beautiful line shot to add to the offensive momentum.

Running the offense and controlling the Lady Wildkats’ offensive play, Correll Heath had two kills, two aces, four digs, and 35 assists.

The Kokomo Wildkats moved to 9 – 3 on the season with the win over Peru.
