Kokomo High School vs Northwestern High School
87 96

The Lady Katfish put up a valiant effort against nearby Northwestern but ultimately lost 96-87.

The girls were led by double winners Jenaka Hawkins, Macee Reckard, and Paige Wilson.

Emily Lucas helped the aforementioned trio start off the meet with a win by catching Northwestern on the final leg of the 200 medley relay, winning by .03. Senior Kaitlyn McGraw won the diving portion of the meet and junior Kylie Lewis finished in third in diving.

Junior Julynne Spidell joined seniors Kendra Cline, Rachel Hillman, and Emily Griggs for a win in the 400 free relay. Cline held off Northwestern in the final five meters and was able to get her hand on the wall first.

Almost every single swim was a season best and several of those were lifetime bests.

The girls put together their best effort of the season and look to continue the momentum in the coming weeks.

The Lady Katfish are 2-1 on the season and travel to Logansport on Dec 21st .
