The Lady Katfish b eat Lewis Cass by a score of 107.5-75.5 on Tuesday evening.
The ladies won 10 of 12 events, including all three relays.
Jenaka Hawkins was the lone quadruple winner for the Kats, winning the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke as well as being part of the winning 200 medley and 200 free relays. Macee Reckard, Rilyn Wonnell, and Emily Lucas were triple winners, and Emily Griggs was a double winner by touching the wall first in 100 back and being a part of the 1st place 400 free relay. Kaitlyn McGraw won diving.
The half point was due to a tie between Paige Wilson and a Lewis Cass swimmer in the 50 free, both going 29.07.
This meet was an opportunity for us swim off events, and I also didn’t tell them what they were swimming until about 2 minutes before their race. The swimmers weren’t too happy about it, but ended up taking it in stride and swimming very well.
The ladies are 5-1 on the season and face Oak Hill on Thursday.
