Leading the way for the Lady Kats was sophomore Julynne Spidell with a runner up finish in a time of 20:00. Julynne ran a tough race and we are very proud of the way she competed. There are a lot of positive take-aways from this meet and we are really excited to enter the IHSAA tournament.
We had three girls who really stood out for us, competing and setting significant personal best times. Sophomore Gadea Castano finished 35th with a time of 23:49, and the freshman duo of Sedalia Herrara in 44th place in 25:22 and Emma Nelson in 46th place in 25:45, all had a breakthrough meet. These three girls have really been working hard and it is nice to see them setting personal best times at the most important part of the season.
