Kokomo fell behind early and trailed 34-11 at the half. Our inability to hit wide open shots and good outside shooting by West Lafayette was the main reasons for the halftime deficit.

The Lady Kats fought hard and played a good second half and outscored West Lafayette 29-24 for the half. Our full court pressure caused West Lafayette issues and led to some easy baskets in transition. I was extremely proud of how hard we played in the second half.

Jada-Claire Broomfield came off the bench to lead us in scoring with 10 points and she had six rebounds. Chloe McClain had eight points and eight rebounds, while Natalija Garevska played her first varsity game and had five points and five rebounds. Brook Reaves and Brooke Hughes provided us great energy on our press.

The KHS JV won their game against West Lafayette 43-32 and was led by Karley Trine with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Julia Garcia had 12 points, and Olivia Hemmerich had 10 points!
