The Kokomo Wildkats traveled to Tipton on Saturday for an afternoon tip-off and left with a victory!

The Kats led throughout the game and held off a late Blue Devil run to win 75-66. The Kats dished out 20 assists and landed five players in double digits in the team effort, victory!

Leading the way for the Kats was junior Bobby Wonnell, scoring 17 points and pulling in five rebounds. Senior Jackson Richards added 12 points and five rebounds. Sophomore Shayne Spear added 11 points, and seniors Dashaun Coleman and P.J. Flowers added 10 apiece. Senior R.J. Oglesby added a team high eight rebounds, while senior Torian Smith dished out a team high seven assists.

The Kats have another busy week this week with two NCC games on the schedule. On Friday, the Kats face NCC rival Richmond at Memorial Gym at 6:00/7:30 P.M. On Saturday, the Kats will play another matinee game when they travel to Muncie Central to battle the Bearcats in the Fieldhouse!
