The Kats rebounded and played their most complete game of the season on Saturday at Lewis Cass, winning 75-48.

The Kats were led by R.J. Oglesby with career highs in both points and rebounds posting 21 and 13, respectively, for the double-double.

Richards nearly posted a triple double with 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, and Wonnell added 11 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Freshman Shayne Spear had 12 points and four assists.

The Kats shared the ball as well as they have all season, collecting 19 assists to only eight turnovers for the game.

The Kats have a busy week this coming week with a home conference game on Thursday at 6:00/7:30 p.m. against NCC rival Arsenal Tech. On Saturday Memorial Gym and the Kokomo Schools have the honor of hosting Basketball Day Indiana. We play Tipton on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Presale tickets are on sale in the Athletic Office at Kokomo High School.

With only one road game remaining, the support of Wildkat Nation will be critical as we close out the season and head into the state tournament. We look to build off of Saturday’s win this week at practice and try to turn this into some consistently high level play. As always, the coaching staff, players, and I are so appreciative of the support of our fans! We hope to see you at Memorial on Thursday!!
