Kokomo vs Westfield High School (1 - 4) Loss Caleb Taflinger- W 0-6, 6-4, 10-7 Micah Taflinger- L 6-2, 7-5 Mitch McClelland- L 6-2, 6-2 Blake/Mayfield- L 6-3, 6-3 Moos/McClain- L 6-4, 5-7, 10-2 I know it is said often, but even though we lost I was extremely pleased with how we played.  My favorite match was #2 doubles.  They played some really big points well, had great energy and attitudes and fought through a great match that went into a third set tiebreaker.  Micah was so close to sending his match to the third set, but couldn't quite get over the hump.  Mitch was in every point and game, and his opponent made him better tonight. #1 doubles did not play badly, but just couldn't get any momentum tonight.  They will bounce back. Westfield's #1 came out on fire.  Caleb weathered the storm, dug in and literally willed his way to a victory over a good player.  I'm thankful for the Westfield match tonight because I believe all five of our points got better by playing them.
