Boys Tennis- Kokomo vs Delta High School (2 - 3) Loss Caleb Taflinger- W 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) Micah Taflinger- W 6-0, 6-3 Mitch McClelland- L 6-2, 6-1 Blake/Mayfield- L 6-7 (4-7), 6-1, 6-4 Moos/McClain- L 6-3, 6-4 I'm thrilled with how well we played tonight vs a top team in the state. This is our first loss with this lineup and things are only going to get tougher next week.  I'm pumped that we can play with teams of this caliber and we had a great chance to win.  I'd play them every night if we could- they are such a quality team and make us better.Our doubles are improving and both were right there.  We played so many great points and limited enforced errors.  Micah has shown up every night this year and is such a valuable point.  He is overshadowed a little because of his big brother, but he is a special tennis player.  He is really playing well.  Caleb had another tight match and came up on top.  Even though our team got 2nd in our invitational to Delta, Caleb had a record tying night.  In his career, he is now 65-19 and tied for the most singles wins in Kokomo history.  He passed his coach Jon Callane Jr last week and is now tied with John Myers, my old teammate,  for first all-time.  All 65 of Caleb's wins have been at #1 singles which is quite an accomplishment. He always puts the team first and didn't even know he had the record. We are excited for Saturday and the opportunity to win conference.
