Boys Tennis- Kokomo vs North Central (4 - 1) Win Caleb Taflinger- W 6-1 6-1 Micah Taflinger- W 6-0, 6-4 Mitch McClelland- W 6-3, 6-0 Blake/Mayfield- L 7-6, 2-6, 10-8 Moos/McClain- W 6-2, 6-2 I'm so pumped, we played great tonight. North Central were State Champs a few years ago and the last two years we have lost 3-2. We played great at every point and came away with a 4-1 victory. I'm not sure if Kokomo has ever won at North Central? Mitch was first done. He wore down his opponent and thinks so well on the court. Caleb was next with a quick victory. Micah played outstanding. Their coach had a lot of praises for him. Then #2 doubles wrapped up a well played match. I truly believe our #1 doubles played the best of our whole team, but just lost a few important points versus a really good opponent. I think they win if we needed to play a whole 3rd set. It was a great team win.
