Kats Race at Logansport

The Kokomo boys’ cross-country team finished 6th overall at the Jacob Graf Invitational with 217 points. Senior Preston Arreola led the way with a 9th-place finish in 17:22, followed by senior Ben Wallace in 19th at 18:11. Sophomore Reece Wright (57th), sophomore Leo Serra (62nd), and sophomore Owen Downing (70th) rounded out the scoring five. The Wildcats showed a strong front duo and will focus on tightening their pack as the season moves forward. The Kokomo boys’ JV team finished 5th overall at the Jacob Graf Invitational with a team score of 132 points. Freshman Phenix Bray and senior Trevor Nelson led the Wildcats, placing back-to-back in 24th and 25th with identical times of 22:52. Senior Ethan Lytle (26th, 23:20) was next in for the Kats with Tanner Workman and Tyler Anderson right behind him to close out the scoring for the Kats. The Kats will next race on Saturday in the Taylor University Invite. Go Kats! Coach Ousley
