Kokomo Athletics

Varsity vs Kokomo High School Game one of Saturday’s double header was a dog fight! Our Kats scored two quick runs in the first inning and shut down Cascade until the bottom of the fifth inning. Brighton Harris handled the mound duties only giving up three earned runs in over 6 innings of work. The Kats were held to four base hits, but were walked eight times leaving the bases loaded twice. Jonathan Frye had a double, where JJ Gillespie, Harry Blake and Eli Roe singled. The Kats stole three bags trying to make something happen. The steals came from Harry Blake, Miles Cunningham, and Ethan Merrell.
