Varsity vs Lebanon Senior night was a success with a win against Lebanon last night! From moms throwing out the first pitch to JJ Gillespie laying down a sacrifice bunt, we were able to execute well! The shining spot last night was Senior Drew Williams. Drew was injured right before the season started with a severe head injury. He was cleared to play a little over a week ago. Making his first start, Drew lasted five innings giving up one hit and striking out two. Brighton Harris and Eli Roe both had two hit games. JJ Gillespie and JaMerion Holloway had a hit a piece. Extra base hits came from Roe and Gillespie with a double a piece. Snagging bases wasn’t an issue last night, with the Kats stealing six total. Brighton Harris and Harry Blake had a pair each. Senior night was special, we are very appreciative of what our seniors have given to this program. Thank you to our two four year starters in Isaac Flamino and JJ Gillespie. Taking the field and creating the highlights will not be the same without you. A huge thanks to our gritty two year starters in Logan Dockemeyer, Brighton Harris, and Drew Williams. Last but not least JaMerion Holloway, thanks for your resilience and hanging with our program until the end! We resume play Friday night at Championship Park. We will take on the always dangerous Twin Lakes in a Friday night showdown!
