Varsity vs Marion Our Kats were able to knock Marion out early with a score of 12-2. Brighton Harris made the start and lasted four innings. He was able to keep the Kats in the game giving up three hits and striking out three. Logan Dockemeyer pitched the final inning. Entering in a tight game, he was able to pick up the save even though it ended in a blowout. JJ Gillespie led the team in hits being a perfect 3-3 at the plate. Isaac Flamino and Jonathon Frye had multiple hits at the plate with two each. Frye and Gillespie had extra base kits for the Kats Dockemeyer, Cunningham, and Gibson all chipped in with a hit each. Frye knocked in a total of four runs followed by Gillespie and Cunningham knocking in a pair each. A ton of offense ended this one in five on a beautiful Saturday. The Kats are now 12-7 overall and 7-1 in the NCC. Our next opponent is Noblesville this Tuesday at Municipal Stadium. Go Kats!
