Varsity vs Logansport Kokomo Varsity Wildkats With Tough Game Against Logansport By GameChanger Media Kokomo Varsity Wildkats had trouble keeping up with Logansport in a 12-2 loss on Wednesday. Logansport got on the board in the second inning after R Spradling singled, scoring one run. Emma Lees singled to center field, which helped Kokomo Varsity Wildkats tie the game at one in the top of the third. In the bottom of the third, Logansport broke up the tie when A Scott doubled, scoring two runs. Then a double by Spradling followed to extend the lead to 5-1. Lanaya Buckner hit a solo inside the park home run in the top of the fifth for the Kokomo Varsity Wildkats. G Risley earned the win for Logansport. The pitcher allowed four hits and two runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking none. Lees took the loss for Kokomo Varsity Wildkats. The hurler went four innings, allowing nine runs (three earned) on six hits, striking out none and walking four. Buckner went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Lees went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Kokomo Varsity Wildkats in hits.
