Unified Kats Shine at Western Invitational

The sun was out and so were the Unified Kats, taking to the track under clear skies and a perfect 75° day at the Western Invitational. Teams from Kokomo, Western, Harrison, West Lafayette, Twin Lakes, and Logansport, came to compete in the last meet before we see each other again at Sectionals. The Kats showed up in every event—whether on the track or in the field—and continued to build on the momentum they've carried all season. From tearing it up in sprints to powerful throws and solid jumps, our athletes stepped up and pushed one another to deliver their best. It marked the midway point of the season, and the progress across the board was clear. What made the meet even more special was the team chemistry on display—athletes from all teams cheering each other on across all events, teammates stepping in and stepping up, and the excitement that only a Unified meet can create. It was a meet that reminded everyone of why Unified Sports matter. Official results will be posted on the Kokomo Athletics website once available. Until then, we’ll remember Western as another great step forward for the Unified Kats.
