Varsity vs North Central Kokomo Varsity Wildkats Storm Back To Defeat North Central Varsity Panthers By GameChanger Media Kokomo Varsity Wildkats rallied to defeat North Central Varsity Panthers 6-5 on Saturday at Kokomo High School. Kokomo Varsity Wildkats trailed by as many as four runs during the game. A double by Jade Hosler put North Central Varsity Panthers on the board in the top of the first. North Central Varsity Panthers added one run in the second. Kaia Pantos grounded out, making the score 3-0. North Central Varsity Panthers added one run in the third after Gabriella Stevens scored after tagging up. Kokomo Varsity Wildkats made the score 6-4 in the bottom of the fifth after an error scored one run, Kinley Martin grounded out, scoring one run, and Lanaya Buckner homered to left field, scoring two runs. Emma Lees earned the win for Kokomo Varsity Wildkats. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and five runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out five and walking three. Kaelee Jacobs took the loss for North Central Varsity Panthers. The hurler went six innings, giving up six runs (two earned) on seven hits, striking out three and walking three. Buckner drove the middle of the lineup, leading Kokomo Varsity Wildkats with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Lucy Goad led Kokomo Varsity Wildkats with two hits in three at bats.
