Our Kats started strong in the first inning lighting up the scoreboard. After a Brighton Harris walk and Eli Roe reaching on an error, JJ Gillespie hit a beautiful ball in the gap for a triple to score two runs. A couple of batters later D’Marion Shiraef was able to get across the plate to make it 3-0. The Kats cooled down and gave up some crucial hits to let the game slip away. Pitchers Logan Dockemeyer, Miles Cunningham, Trey Gamble, and Brighton Harris all took the mound in the loss. A positive was stolen bases, Cam Parks had three, Harry Blake had two, and D’Marion Shiraef had one. Kats next game is against the Frankfort Hot Dogs this Friday at Municipal…. Go Kats!
