Varsity vs Frankfort (108 - 63) Win Tuesday night the Katfish hosted the Frankfort Hot Dogs in the last boy/girl meet of the season. The Katfish had a performance reminiscent of Joey Chestnut, as they devoured the Hot Dogs 108 - 63. First place finishes include: Quadruple winners: Isaac Flamino (200 Medley Relay, 50 Free, 100 Fly, 200 Free Relay), ; Triple winners: Bryce Brassard (200 Medley Relay, 500 Free, 200 Free Relay), Hayden Moore (200 Free, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay);Tae Ow Kanayama & Oliver Taskey earned two wins a piece as part of the 200 Medley, 200 Free, and 400 Free Relay (alongside Ethan Lytle & Hutch Munsey); and Carter McClain took first place in the 100 Backstroke. A lot of great swims all around! Our boys are doing a fantastic job stepping up and swimming new events for splits prior to sectionals; I feel we’ve begun to hit our stride the past couple of weeks. Hutch Munsey has been making an impact in the 200 Free, Jesse Cummings in the Backstroke, Andre Gomez & Zavier Larmer in the Breaststroke, and Kyrii Minor-Thornton almost raced himself to death in the 200 IM & Backstroke. Like many teams this time of year, we’ve dealt with injuries and sickness… It's great to finally be on the mend! The Katfish boys will be back in action this Thursday, hosting the Western Panthers in a boys-only dual meet! Go Katfish! -Coach Whiteman
