Varsity vs Cass (104 - 59) Win Monday night the Katfish hosted the Lewis Cass Kings at our senior night swim meet. The Katfish came out strong, hoping to change the outcome of last season’s nail-biting loss to the Kings. We had excellent swims all around and had the depth to defeat the Kings 104 - 59. First place finishes include: Oliver Taskey in the 200 IM, Tae Ow Kanayama in the 100 Fly, Hayden Moore in the 100 Free, Ethan Lytle in the 500 Free, the 200 Free Relay teams of Tae Ow Kanayama, Hayden Moore, Oliver Taskey, Isaac Flamino, and the 400 Free Relay team of Carter McClain, Hutch Munsey, Andre Gomez, Ethan Lytle. We performed very well, with many athletes swimming events for the first time this season. We swam tough and used our depth to pull off a win tonight with many 2, 3, 4 finishes. Ethan Lytle & Hutch Munsey swam great in our distance events, Kyrii Minor-Thornton earned a PR in the 50 Free, and Odin Salinas continues to improve his freestyle times. A lot of things to be excited about for this Katfish team. I'm proud of our boys and their performance tonight! Great job senior, Isaac Flamino!
