Over the Christmas break the boys team went 7-3 at the Norm Wiley Holliday Duals. The Kats beat Faith Christian 52-30, Lafayette Jeff 52-32, Mishawaka Marion 65-18, North Newton 54-24, Clinton Central 44-24, West Lafayette 54-24 and Lafayette Central Catholic 59-18. This is always a good test to see how these guys can manage weight and their strength. I was very pleased with the outcome but of course we lost a couple duals I feel like we should have won. Freshman 150lb Joelle Nieto went 10-0 over the two days. Senior Jedaiah Beard and Junior Christien Damewood both went 9-1. Juniors David Conner and Derrick Ross went 8-2.
