The Lady Kats defeat Marion on Friday night to head into Christmas with a 9-3 record overall and 2-1 in conference. Kokomo came out and had a 15 point lead at halftime, but Marion never gave up. They cut the lead to 7 in the second half, but the Lady Kats were too experienced to let this one slip away. Eliana Stewart and Satyra Scott both led the Lady Kats with 14 points apiece. Eliana Stewart had a season-high 5 blocks. Amara Stroman led the team with 4 assists and Jhordyn Brown added 3 steals. Kokomo is back in action Friday 12/27 against Fort Wayne-Wayne in the Northeastern Christmas Tournament. GO KATS. -coach Haley peckinpaugh
