Varsity vs Northwestern (99 - 76) Win Monday night the Katfish traveled to compete against their cross-county rival, Northwestern Tigers. Our ladies came out fast in the 200 Medley Relay and didn’t let up all night, securing first place wins in all 11 swim events. First place relay finishes include: 200 Medley Relay (Aubrey Simmons, Maria Trevisi Capuci, Maddie Armstrong, Morgan Rakestraw), 200 Free Relay (Bethany Burns, Morgan Rakestraw, Alyssa Frederick, Milla Hawkins), and the 400 Free Relay (Aubrey Simmons, Maddie Armstrong, Alyssa Frederick, Milla Hawkins). First place individual finishes include: Quadruple winners Milla Hawkins (50 Free & 100 Free), Aubrey Simmons (200 IM & 100 Back), Morgan Rakestraw (100 Fly & 100 Breaststroke), and Alyssa Frederick (200 Free & 500 Free). Solid swims all around for the Lady Katfish; including a couple PRs in the 500 Free from Maddie Armstrong & Alyssa Frederick, a :27.82 split from Maria Trevisi Capuci as part of the 200 Free Relay, and an 18 second time drop for Giyanna Thornton in the 100 Free!
