Saturday the boys wrestling team took 2nd at the Western Invite with two champions. Seniors Gabe Newland and Jedaiah Beard led the way both claiming the top spot in their weight class. Juniors Christien Damewood, David Conner, Derrick Ross and Freshman Joelle Nieto were Runners Up. The Kats finished second behind tournament champion Oak Hill. Giving up three weight classes due to illness and still claimed a close second is impressive. Right now we need to get healthy and conditioned. Film will be on Monday and back to work! The Wrestling Team is back in action Tuesday at home against Logansport! As always Go Kats Go!
