Lady Kats battled against #9 ranked McCutcheon on Friday night, but a slow first quarter propelled the Mavericks to a win 54-45. After the first quarter, Kokomo played unselfish team basketball and got the score within 7 in the 2nd quarter, but the depth of McCutcheon sealed the deal late in the game. Avi Pollard and Ma’Kaela Drake led the Lady Kats in scoring with 9 apiece. Satyra Scott added 7 points and 3 assists. Eliana Stewart led the team in rebounds with 12.
