Varsity vs Marion (67 - 89) Loss Wednesday night the Katfish travel to compete against their conference rival Marion Giants. Our team swam well throughout the night but despite our best effort, we fell to the Giants 67-89. Top performances include: Double winner Oliver Taskey (200 IM, 100 Breaststroke); single winners Tae Ow Kanayama (100 Fly) and Bryce Brassard (100 Free). Despite falling to Marion in the points game, our team swam incredibly well, dropping time across the board in several events! Ethan Lytle & Carter McClain shaved a bunch of time off their 200 & 500 Freestyle, Bryce Brassard went :59 in the 100 Free, and Odin Salinas saw drastic improvement in the 50 Free. Andre Gomez, Hutch Munsey, and Kyrii Minor-Thornton raced their hearts out placing 2, 3, 4 in the 50 Free. We’re really starting to buy in and push ourselves at practice… our time drops are evidence we’re headed in the right direction! Let’s keep the momentum going, Katfish!
