The Lady Kats got their first win of December against Western in a gritty win 49-38 to improve their record to 7-2 on the season thus far. The first quarter was a slow start as the score going into the second quarter was 6-0 Kokomo, then the Lady Kats hit 5 threes in the second quarter to add to the lead. Ma’Kaela Drake led kokomo with 16 points and 8 steals. Bella Richards added 8 points and 10 rebounds. Satyra Scott had 9 points and Amara Stroman added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
