Wildkats Sweep Weekend with Victory Over Bishop Dwenger The Kokomo Wildkats capped off a successful weekend with an impressive road win against Bishop Dwenger, defeating the Saints 87-59. Fresh off their dominant performance at Peru, the Wildkats carried their momentum into Fort Wayne, storming out to a 10-0 lead in the opening minutes. Freshman standout DJ Nash continued his stellar play, notching his second double-double of the season with 15 points and an astounding 18 rebounds. A’Dayveon Young lit up the scoreboard, leading all scorers with 23 points, including a red-hot 6-of-10 performance from beyond the arc. Senior Zion Bellamy and junior Korbyn Hammel added valuable contributions with 15 and 14 points, respectively. Hammel also displayed his playmaking abilities, dishing out a team-high eight assists. The Wildkats’ balanced attack and strong start proved too much for Bishop Dwenger, securing the weekend sweep.
