The Lady Kats fought hard, but came up short against a solid Zionsville team on Monday night. The first quarter was all Zionsville as the Lady Kats gave up 22 points, but after the first quarter jitters wore off the Lady Kats started to battle and run in transition to get some easy points. Sadly, tonight was not Kokomo's best shooting night as we shot 20% from 3 compared to Zionsville's 43% from the 3-point line. Defensively, the second-half was much improved and the Lady Kats gave it their all. Ma'Kaela Drake led Kokomo with 13 points and 2 steals. Bella Richards had an incredible game scoring 8 points and 9 rebounds. Eliana Stewart also added 8 points on 75% shooting. Regan McClain had 6 points and 5 rebounds for the Lady Kats.
