The Kokomo Lady Kats started conference strong with a 54-35 win over Anderson on Saturday. The first quarter we got off to a slow start, but we picked it up in the second quarter to go into halftime with a 20-11 lead. The second half we outscored Anderson 34-24. Eliana Stewart had a career-high 15 rebounds and 16 points. Satyra Scott added 13 points and 3 steals. Amara Stroman and Ma’Kaela Drake both contributed 7 points apiece while being in foul trouble for most of the game. Bella Richards had 9 solid rebounds and Jhordyn Brown had 3 steals.
