The Lady Kats start the season 4-0 with a win over a talented Lewis Cass team 49-34. The second quarter Lewis Cass went on a 7-0 run and Kokomo responded with poise and grit in the second half to win the second half 22-16. Leading all scorers was Ma’Kaela Drake with 15 points and 3 steals. Eliana Stewart had a great stat line with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Amara Stroman led the team with 6 assists and Bella Richards led the way with 9 rebounds. Avi pollard added 6 points. Satyra Scott played great on-ball defense for the Lady Kats and freshman, Jhordyn Brown, hit a huge 3 in the second quarter to give us great energy off the bench. The Lady Kats are back in action Saturday at Fort Wayne South Side. GO KATS.
