Varsity vs Western High School (101 - 79) Loss Last night the Lady Katfish hosted the Western Panthers in our season debut. Unfortunately, the final score didn’t reflect the efforts our Katfish put into the pool as we fell 79-101. Team highlights include two - first place relay finishes in the 200 Medley Relay with the team of Morgan Rakestraw, Milla Hawkins, Aubrey Simmons, and Maddie Armstrong and the 200 Freestyle Relay with the team of Morgan Rakestraw, Bethany Burns, Alyssa Frederick, and Milla Hawkins. Individually, Morgan Rakestraw was a quadruple winner (200 IM & 100 Fly), triple winners included Milla Hawkins (100 Freestyle), Aubrey Simmons (50 Free, 100 Backstroke), and Alyssa Frederick (200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle). We had some great races all around and got a chance to see what we’re capable of on race day. Several swimmers stepped up to the challenge and competed in events they may not typically swim, including some back-to-back events. I’m incredibly proud of our Katfish and their efforts in the pool last night. Next up, we will travel to Manchester Monday November 25 at 5:30pm. Go Katfish! Coach Whiteman
