Our boys placed 24th out of the 25 teams at the Brownsburg Regional on Saturday morning. We did not have quite the day we wanted due to our number one and number three runners being unable to race, due to illness. They both warmed up to try to give it a shot, but in the end were just unable to go. We were led by senior Connor Frederick who placed 85th with a PR time of 16:59, which was the goal he set for himself at the start of the season, which was to run sub 17 in a race. Connor and fellow senior Gabe Newland have had great careers and done a great job in setting the future foundation for our program. I am proud of our guys for doing their best and maintaining an overall great attitude at the regional despite facing adversity and for it being their first time there. We look forward to next season as we try to build off our success this year and try to do better next year. Go KATS!! Coach Ousley
