There's no place like home for Kokomo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Muncie Central Bearcats 28-0 at home. That's more bragging rights for the Wildkats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head. Kokomo's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Muncie Central, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kokomo will head out to challenge Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kokomo is facing Richmond at the right time seeing as Richmond is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Our offense was led by Brixton Morris. He had 26 carries for 153 yards and a touchdown. Our other running back spot accumulated 16 carries for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns. Those were gained by Keemarion Pollard and Baris Moore. Defensively we held Muncie to only 75 total yards on 37 plays. Logan Dockemeyer and Ben Carey led us with 6 tackles a piece. Marcus Noy had 3.5 tackles for a loss. Andrew Barker also had a huge blocked punt that led to a score for us in the 4th quarter to seal the deal for the Kats. Thanks for supporting the Kats.
