In a Saturday morning showdown against homecoming rivals Muncie Central, the Lady Kats played with purpose. Both teams were plagued by injuries, but Kokomo imposed their will on the Bearcats, who faced an uphill battle with only one available substitute. The Lady Kats capitalized on the situation, securing an 8-1 victory while providing valuable playing time for underclassmen. Kokomo quickly took control, heading into halftime with a commanding 5-0 lead. Iris Brehm and Isa Boyance each netted three goals to earn hat tricks, while senior Layla Brehm added two more goals with her speed and determination. Jimena Mier's impressive footwork helped Kokomo maintain possession throughout the match, while Kate Rivera stood out by aggressively winning 50/50 balls and contributing on both sides of the field.
