The Lady Kats faced a tough match against Oak Hill, ending in a 0-6 defeat. Despite the challenging outcome, the team showed significant defensive progress compared to last week's performance, particularly during a solid first half where they managed to contain Oak Hill's offense for much of the period. The team was missing a few key players, which added to the challenge. However, goalkeeper Aiyana Cox stepped up with an outstanding performance, recording 16 saves and playing a crucial role in limiting the damage. The defensive line, consisting of Gisella Herrera, Elaina Gibson, Izzy Riggs, Patience Rowles, and Jay'Onna Spratt, demonstrated resilience and determination, reflecting noticeable improvement in their effort and positioning. Despite the defensive effort, the Lady Kats struggled to transition out of the midfield and control possession, which allowed Oak Hill to dominate the game. While the scoreboard may not reflect the full extent of their effort, the team's defensive progress is a positive takeaway as they look to build on this experience in future matches.
