Last night the boys cross-country team traveled to Northwestern to participate in the Northwestern Combine 3K and placed 3rd out of 10 teams. The boys actually tied for 3rd, but came out in front of 4th place Maconaquah due to our 6th man Trevor Nelson finishing in front of their 6th man. For the Kats senior Connor Frederick led the way with a 7th place finish and a PR time of 10:15, with junior Preston Arreola coming in 11th with a PR time of 10:25. Junior Ben Wallace, Senior Gabe Newland, & Freshman Leo Serra were also key contributors for the Kats, as all 3 guys set a new PR. The Kats are back in action on Saturday as they race in the Jacob Graf Invite at Logansport High School starting at 9am. Go Kats!! Coach Ousley
