Varsity vs Lawrence North High School In the world of sports, defeat can often be a bitter pill to swallow, especially on a night like senior night. The Kokomo Boys Volleyball team experienced just that, falling short in a hard-fought battle against Lawrence North in a 0-3 (22-25, 19-25, 23-25) loss. The team struggled with ball control, hindering their ability to unleash their offensive game. However, amidst the disappointment, there was a moment of recognition and gratitude as the team honored their seven seniors; AJ Blessing, Travis Kewley, JJ Kilcline, Owen Moore, Igor Alves, Miguel Ramirez and Ethan Wyrick. These young athletes, who have poured their hearts into the school’s first year program, played their final home match in Haworth Gymnasium. Their contributions to the team, both on and off the court, have left an indelible mark on the program. Now, as the dust settles from last night's match, the focus shifts to the future. The team is gearing up for the sectional match next Tuesday against McCutcheon. It's a chance for the Kokomo Boys Volleyball team to regroup, taking the lessons learned from defeat to fuel their determination and drive for success.
