Varsity vs Harrison (2 - 3) Loss Our Kats played a heck of a game against a good Harrison squad. A total team effort battled for 7 innings, falling behind in the 7th and unable to get a run across in the last inning. Dalton Dixon had his third complete game in a row. Dalton is doing amazing things this season and setting a pace that is seldom seen. Dalton had 7IP, 7H, 2ER, 2BB, 2K.. Dixon's Season Stats: - 5 games played - 3 games started - 3 complete games - 2W -1L - 25 innings pitched - 2.24 earned run average - 23 strikeouts - 9 walks Our offense faced a strong pitcher for Harrison but was able to creatively get some runs across the plate with aggressive base running from Chad Washburn and Isaac Flamino. Chad had 3 stolen bases on the night, Isaac had 1. Washburn scored both runs, where hits came from Washburn, Flamino, Jude Rivers, and Brighton Harris. Defensively we had a much better game with our outfield continuing to be a no fly zone led by Washburn, Logan Dockemeyer, and Jude Rivers. Our infield made some great plays highlighted by Brighton Harris making quick decisions and mowing down three runners at third base with David Conner and the rest of the infield simply doing their job! We play #2 in the state in McCutcheon tonight at Municipal. Go Kats!
