Junior Varsity vs Lafayette Jeff. (8 - 1) Win Our JV was excited for their home opener against Lafayette Jeff. Coming into the game after a loss the night before to great pitching, Ben Carey took the mound and did not disappoint. In a rain shortened game, Carey was able to strike out 10 of 12 batters in four innings while giving up 0 hits and 2 walks. Offensively the Kats were able to put up 5 hits. Miles Cunningham led the team with two hits followed by Eli Roe, Hagen Smith, and Cameron Parks with a hit a piece. Our guys were speedsters on the base paths swiping seven bags! JV is 1-1 with their next game being against Northwestern and a weekend double header against Fishers. Go Kats!
