Saturday afternoon the Lady Kats participated in the HSR qualifier #3 at IWU. Even though we do not qualify in the top 24 for large schools indoor finals, the Lady Kats performed very well. Out of 71 participants in the 60 meter dash Saturday, we placed 4th, 8th and 14th overall. 60 Meter Dash: Abrashia Moore 8.08 Ma'kaela Young-Drake 8.19 Mia Castillo 8.35 Out of 26 participating 4x200 relay teams, we placed 6th overall. 4x200 Relay: 1:52.98 Jhazlyn McKay (26.78) Mia Castillo (27.62) Abrashia Moore (29.23) Ma'kaela Young-Drake (28.90) Out of 22 participating 4x400 relay teams, we placed 9th. 4x400 Relay: 4:33.11 Akiera Huntsman (1:07.9) Abrashia Moore (1:09) Mia Castillo (1:09.26 Jhazlyn McKay (1:07.50) In the Shot Put we placed 22nd and 44th out of 47 participants.
