The Kats were back at Troyer Fieldhouse today for 1 last qualifying meet. Though we don’t have any advancing to the state meet, we put out another great performance! Personal bests were recorded in multiple events today. In the 3200 Cooper Cage (9:55.3) good for 4th place overall, and Connor Frederick (10:57). In the 60m dash Rondell Greene (7.22), Malachi Harper (7.44), and Tracy Dowling (7.60). Finishing off with personal bests in the open sprint races was our 60m hurdlers, Jamaree McClinton (9.07), and Jayden Forman (9.55)! Our sprint relays competed very well with opponents, and we are pleased with their efforts. The 4x200 consisting of Rondell Greene, Tracy Dowling, Eric Thomas, and Lukas Degraffenreid placed 6th with a personal best of 1:36. The 4x400 consisting of Lukas Degraffenreid, Eric Thomas, Jamaree McClinton, and Rondell Greene with a personal best of 3:40. We are pleased with our training this far, and our performances this indoor season. As always, there’s room for growth and we look forward to continuing to build as we move forward to outdoor season!
