Kokomo Boys Track and Field team competed last night at Indiana Wesleyan. The Kats had a great showing, and we are pleased with how the boys are looking! Starting the meet off on the track, Cooper Cage placed 5th in the 3200 with a time of 10:01.89. Next, the sprinters set the tone in the 60m hurdles and 60m dash. In the 60m hurdles Jamaree McClinton placed 5th (9.09) and Jayden Forman had a personal best (9.80). 60m dash included Rondell Greene (7.36), Lukas Degraffenreid (7.38), and Malachi Harper (7.46). Our relays 4x200, DMR, and 4x400 all put out a good performance. We look forward to finding our groove with relays, as we continue to mesh, and grow as a team. In the field, Jedaiah Beard placed 4th in shot put with a throw of 43’5”. Chance Duncan also placed in the shot put, 42’3”. In the long jump, Jeremiah Young placed 4th with a leap of 19’1”.
