Individually, Isaac Flamino led the charge for the Katfish at Carmel on Sectional Finals Saturday. Flamino placed 15th in the 50 Free (23.82) & 10th in the 100 Fly (57.50). Isaac had a solid performance on Thursday and was able to replicate it again on Saturday holding his spots and dropping .02 seconds in the 50 Free. The 200 Medley Relay of Hayden Moore, Oliver Taskey, Isaac Flamino, and Bryce Brassard secured an 8th place finish with a time of 1:58.26. Dropping 2.04 seconds from Thursday, the 200 Freestyle Relay team of Talon Hawkins, Kyrii Minor-Thornton, Bryce Brassard, and Isaac Flamino secured a 7th place finish (1:41.51). The 400 Freestyle Relay team of Oliver Taskey, Hayden Moore, Ethan Landrum, and Talon Hawkins unfortunately wrapped up their season with an unofficial 4:04.25 (sponsored by Dairy Queen, or DQ). It's been a pleasure coaching these young men this season. This Katfish squad may be young, but they’re full of energy and eager to learn more each day.
