The Lady Kats won the first round of sectionals against logansport on Tuesday night 55-22 to improve to 15-9 on the season. The start was rough, but the jitters eventually settled and the Lady Kats out scored Logansport 21-9 in the second quarter to build their lead. Aijia Elliott led all scorers with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Regan McClain added 10 points and 7 rebounds. Amara Stroman shot 75% from 3 and added 9 points. Avi pollard had 5 points and Kamaria White led both teams with 7 assists. Friday, we take on McCutcheon (19-4) in the sectional semi-finals at 7:30pm. GO KATS. -coach Haley peckinpaugh
