Girls (110 - 65) Win Tuesday night the Katfish traveled to Frankfort to take on the Hot Dogs in the last boy/girl meet of the season. The Katfish had a performance reminiscent of Joey Chestnut, as they devoured the Hot Dogs 110 - 65. First place finishes include: Quadruple winners: Milla Hawkins (200 Medley Relay, 100 Free, 200 Free Relay, 100 Breaststroke), Aubrey Simmons (200 Medley Relay, 100 Fly, 200 Free Relay, 100 Backstroke), Alyssa Frederick (200 Medley Relay, 200 Free, 500 Free, 400 Free Relay); Triple winners: Maddie Armstrong (200 Medley Relay, 200 IM, 400 Free Relay), Morgan Rakestraw (200 Medley Relay, 50 Free, 200 Free Relay); and last but not least, Taylor Belzer and Grace Lake both took home a win as part of the 400 Free Relay. We went out and raced, racking up 11/11 first place victories and going 1, 2 in 5/11 swim events. I challenged the squad to really give it their all in the final meet of the regular season, and they rose to the occasion. I’m eager to see what this team can do in the next week leading up to sectionals. We've been training hard and really putting in the work all season - it’s about to pay off!
