Boys (110 - 53) Win Tuesday night the Katfish traveled to Frankfort to take on the Hot Dogs in the last boy/girl meet of the season. The Katfish had a performance reminiscent of Joey Chestnut, as they devoured the Hot Dogs 110 - 53. First place finishes include: Quadruple winners: Talon Hawkins (200 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay), Isaac Flamino (200 Medley Relay, 100 Fly, 200 Free Relay, 100 Breaststroke); Triple winners: Bryce Brassard (200 Medley Relay, 50 Free, 200 Free Relay); Double winners: Oliver Taskey (200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay); Jose Callvio placed first the 100 Backstroke, and Hayden Moore, Ethan Landrum (400 Free Relay) & Kyrii Minor-Thornton (200 Free Relay) took home a relay win. A lot of great swims all around, still plenty of room for improvement prior to sectionals, but I’m pleased with how the team competed. Have to give a big shout out to Kyrii on completing his first 500 Freestyle… we might have ourselves a new distance guy! The Katfish are back at it again on Thursday, traveling to Western High School to take on the Panthers in a boys-only dual meet! Go Katfish! - Coach Whiteman
