The Lady Kats had two big games this weekend and came away 1-1 for the weekend. Friday night, kokomo traveled to Richmond to compete for third place in the conference and got the win 46-36. Ma’Kaela Drake led the way with 17 points, avi pollard added 10 and Aijia Elliott contributed 9 points. It was a great team win as numerous players stepped up. On Saturday, the Lady Kats took on a very talented Tippecanoe Valley team and came up short 41-32. It was a tough shooting game for Kokomo and we just couldn’t overcome the aggressiveness of tippy valley. Aijia Elliott led the way with 11 points, Ma’Kaela Drake added 10 and Regan McClain had 6 points. Kokomo has senior night on Tuesday night in a varsity only contest at 6:30pm.
